The NYS Dairy Goat Breeders Association and ADGA will be hosting the AMERICAN DAIRY GOAT ASSOCIATION’S 2022 National Convention on October 1-7, 2022 at the Ramada by Wyndham Hotel and Conference Center in Syracuse, NY.  This conference typically draws  hundreds of dairy goat breeders from across the USA, Canada, Mexico and other countries and is open to anyone interested in the dairy goat industry and dairy goat products.

Either way this webinar/hands-on workshop pairing is aimed at you. The lambing and kidding webinar will feature Betsy Hodge, CCE St. Lawrence, and tatiana Stanton, Cornell University. Jesse Waltemyer, Cornell Flock Manager, will join us for the hands-on workshops. We’ll cover the basics of lambing and kidding starting with preparation and go on to cover the birthing process and what to do after the babies are born. We’ll talk about managing the birthing season efficiently and what to do when things don’t go as planned.
